When You Don’t Like Your Child’s Teacher

Welcome back!
You’ve spent all summer hoping and praying that your child gets Mrs. Jones for 3rd grade. You’ve heard so many wonderful things about her and you just know that this is the one and only teacher for your student. But then the notice comes and your child didn’t get Mrs. Jones. Rather, he got Mr. Smith. It’s not what you wanted and you worry your child won’t be happy in Mr. Smith’s class.
Before you decide 3rd grade will be horrible, let’s examine those feelings you are having about the new teacher.
