Working Moms Can Help Out at School Too
“But Mom, why can’t you come on the field trip today? Melissa’s Mom ALWAYS comes.”
That’s a question most working moms would rather not have to answer. Of course they would love to be able to be available for every field trip and holiday party. What mom wouldn’t love to have all their kid’s classmates running up to them at the park saying “Hi?” Nevertheless, for a variety of reasons that just isn’t possible for everyone. Some of us just have to work.
Even so, there are still a number of ways that working moms can help out I the classroom. If you can’t actually make it to the school during the day there are always a variety of projects that can be done right from home. I haven’t met an elementary school teacher yet who didn’t need some sort of paper cut for a lesson. Everyone owns a pair of scissors.
